Engineering Trainee – Reliability

As an Engineering Trainee Reliability, you will actively drive reliability initiatives within the plant, participate in the development of a reliability roadmap, and analyze plant operational data.

What awaits you

  • You actively drive the reliability initiatives within the plant
  • You actively participate in the development of a Reliability Roadmap (plant/area) in coordination with the Reliability Leader
  • You support the development of an asset care management strategy in coordination with the Reliability Leader
  • You are responsible for the analysis of the operational data of the plants
  • You will ensure that assets are properly designed, selected and installed based on a life cycle philosophy
  • You provide technical guidance for the preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • You contribute to facilitating FMEA / RCAs and ensuring follow-up actions are taken
  • You monitor, analyze and perform root cause analysis on critical failures
  • You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of critical assets and operations

How you convince us

  • You have successfully completed your studies - preferably a Master's degree - in the field of (industrial) engineering, ideally with a focus on reliability
  • During your studies you were able to gain first relevant experiences - ideally in a manufacturing environment

Your trainee at the Koblenz site
Locationinfo: The Koblenz plant employs around 1,300 people. The aluminum rolling mill with foundries in Koblenz and Voerde specializes in three market segments for global requirements: the aerospace industry, the automotive industry and the defense industry. For this purpose, highly specialized panels are manufactured at the site in various designs, sizes and coatings. In addition, highly specialized sheet for mold and tool making as well as for transportation and future-oriented industrial applications is produced in Koblenz. Novelis is known for its ongoing support of safety education from kindergarten to local fire departments, and sponsors local renaturalization and other sustainability projects.
