Engineering Trainee – Quality

As an Engineering Trainee in the Quality department, you will actively contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards of our products and develop measures for quality improvement.

What awaits you

  • You actively contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards of our products
  • You develop measures for quality improvement within improvement projects
  • Based on the data from production, you perform quality analyses
  • You work cross-functionally on the introduction of new products or product changes to ensure a "zero defect mentality" in the production process
  • You are the contact person for operations and internal technical customer service in the context of complaints and 8D processing

How you convince us

  • You have successfully completed your studies - preferably a master's degree - in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, materials science or similar
  • During your studies you have already gained some relevant experience - ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • You are curious to get to know other locations within the scope of a rotation and are willing to travel accordingly
  • You have a hands-on mentality and want to drive sustainable solutions for our company with passion and know-how and bring your ideas to the table
  • Communication and teamwork skills are among your strengths
  • You like to make decisions and take responsibility

Your trainee at the Ohle site
Locationinfo: The Ohle plant in North Rhine-Westphalia employs around 500 people. The site produces materials for coffee capsules, cable straps, and flexible tubes for the automotive industry, packaging for the food industry and aluminium coil cores for the aluminium and steel industries. Ohle is located in the town of Plettenberg and is close to the metropole cities Düsseldorf and Cologne. The Ohle plant supports charitable organizations ranging from safety to mathematics, science, and education for youth.
