As Engineering Trainee - Process Engineer Adjustage you will be responsible for technical support and ensuring continuous improvement of production facilities as well as quality. You carry out structured fault analyses and preventive measures and ensure the elimination of process faults.

You are responsible for the technical support and ensuring the continuous improvement of the production facilities and quality
You take over the planning, coordination and execution of process development activities in technical and qualitative orientation
You carry out structured fault analyses and preventive measures and ensure the elimination of process faults in cooperation with the maintenance and production departments
You supervise the plants with regard to quality-related processes as well as the integrated management system
You work with plant-related EDP systems and carry out process data analyses
You participate in the qualification of new materials and the testing of product manufacturability evaluations

You have successfully completed your studies - preferably a Master's degree - in the field of electrical, production or process engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
During your studies you have already gained some relevant experience - ideally in a manufacturing environment

Your trainee at the Nachterstedt site
Locationinfo: The two plants in Nachterstedt in Lower Saxony employ around 1,050 people and are one of the biggest employers in the region. The rolling mill supplies high-quality, surface-refined aluminium products to the automotive and can-making industries as well as to industrial and hardware stores. The recycling center - the largest of its kind in Europe - is dedicated to recycling used beverage cans and other waste.
Novelis Nachterstedt is strongly involved in local activities in cooperation with schools and universities to promote interest in science and technology. The plant is also known for its ongoing support of safety education provided for kids at kindergarten up to the local fire department.
